I think if you have some liver, a steak or other red meat, some good seafood like oysters, lentils or spinach, that'll be good for building up your iron but I also think taking a supplement will work faster. You don't want your iron numbers to be above normal but from my personal experience, it'll take a long time to get there. Good luck.
