Hello!

I tested positive for chlamydia last february and was originally prescribed doxy but my body didnt take it well so i was given azithromycin instead. 2 weeks later and I still have thick discharge which my OB said was probably BV or yeast but I tested for those and still got negative. Its been 3 weeks now and the discharge is still there and haven’t gotten my period either. My OB says its just a change in medicine but I am worried that its still there.

Im going to get tested again next week but I wanted to know if this is normal for chlamydia and post-treatment of it. I know it hasn’t been that long but my anxiety and depression has definitely gotten worse without much of a word from my OB. Thanks!

It is great that you are getting tested again, and perhaps you can even get a second opinion. Is that what you are hoping too?
