Hello! Thanks a lot for your answer and I actually followed your advice. The ENT was much, much nicer and actually looked down my throat with a camera and didn't dismiss any of my symptoms as imaginary ones. He couldn't find anything wrong at that moment, but he assured me we would keep looking and also asked me to do a ecography of my whole throat structure so we can see what we're dealing with. He also very sincerely told me I should ditch this allergist and look for a new one (which I did, I will see her in two days). He was nice, careful and calm and I actually feel much better knowing that my life is not, in fact, at stake.
Thanks a lot for your kind words, they helped a lot

Good Morning! Thank you so much for letting me know. You have just made my day! Sharing is critical and I learned that through my career in working with families of babies with disabilities. Connecting them to other families further along in their journey with their child to learn from them is so key to a supportive community that may offer something that we professionals were not aware of. Knowing that you moved forward in seeing an ENT that sounds like a compassionate, thorough doctor means so much. I pray answers will be found for you to help you heal and feel your best again.
