My journey stated in my early 50s much like yours, burning feet preventing me from running, cycling and eventually limited even walking, impacting my work, etc. Neurologist diagnosed idiopathic SFN confirmed via EMG and prescribed the traditional meds (gabapentin, etc). I did not like it so sought a second opinion from a different neurologist, second EMG and got the same result. I did not like the side effects of the meds (brain fog, sleepiness with little change in the pain), so I looked for different solutions.

I went to a Neurogenx office and did not have a good experience. There sales technique felt like I was buying a used car. I asked for research on the process and was provided brochures and newspaper articles signing its success, not medical research. When I didn't commit to a contract, they dropped the price, pressured me sign, etc. Hopefully your experience will be better!

I've tried many things (diff shoes, Voxx socks, differing supplements, hot/cold sole therapy, PEMF, NSAIDs, orthotics, exercises/stretches, etc) but did not find any relief until I found The Protocol on this forum as discussed by JohnBishop above.

The Protocol 525 is a daily regime of supplements. I've been on it for almost a year and it has significantly reduced my pain. I'm not running yet, but I can now cycle short distances and walk normally.

Recommend doing your own research on The Protocol 525 to see if it's right for you.

You WILL find something to help. Keep looking, researching and don't give up hope!
Doug

This may be my 4th attempt with creams, supplements, etc.. I will research and review the money return policy. Thanks for the tip.
