Your comment made me profoundly sad. If the people around you are telling you to "relax", obviously they have no understanding or empathy for those of us who live with constant pain. It is exhausting, soul crushing & takes the joy out of life. We would love to "relax", but that's not an option. My husband is clueless & tired of listening to my problems, my best friend says "it could be worse, you could be homeless". In other words, shut up & deal with it. So that's what I try to do.

I would maybe share that with the Doctor instead of them. Moving forward if it’s Neuropathy, you could suggest being put on Gabapentin and see if you receive any relief. Don’t feel like you have to be quite about what you’re going through. You can always come here and relieve yourself of this frustration you are experiencing. I truly understand. Have a great rest of your week. Yes I have Progressive Peripheral Neuropathy , don’t know where it came from and I don’t have Diabetes.

Thank you. I am on 1800mg of Gabapentin for my PN. I guess it helps. I am frustrated. I just developed a wicked case of Tinnitus in one ear, about 45 days ago. MRI tomorrow. I think the high pitched buzz is driving me a bit crazy too!

I pray that your MRI goes well and that you get the answers that you deserve. I truly find it therapeutic to be able to come here and express myself and I am very grateful for every response and encouragement. So I encourage you to come here and let us know how your doing, we care if it seems like no one else does. I have found prayer and positivity works for me even when I don’t want to be. Have an amazing rest of your week.

Does anyone have suggestions for constant burp, tingling and the feeling of catus from the toes all through the feet, legs and buttocks?

Yes, I have tingling and burning in my feet. Have been on Gabapentin for about 3 years and it does help. My prescription is for 800 mg. 4 times a day.

I too take Gabapentin 3 times a day, but I also rub CBD salve into the area that hurts and that gives me some relief (enough to fall back asleep)

Gabapentin makes me have seizures and the neuropathy worse.

Hi guys. My pn is in my feet. Gabba helps me thru the day when I'm putting load on my feet. I'm now tapering down a bit at nite since the load is less. If I really need to I will frb 4% Lidocaine on my feet and the pain stops completely for a while. I used to have it compounded thru my podiatrist for $40 but now I get it at Walgreens for $5 and it works great if I need it. Johnmacc

I have also had problems with gabapentine and got off of a 2,000 mg dosage. I fully agree with stress as an issue. The stress can be psychological, physical, and even environmental with weather changes. For me (and it is all different for all of us) I find a little relief from a cream that my neurologist has compounded at a pharmacy. 5% lidocaine, 5% ketamine, 5% gabapentine. My concern with this compound is that my body will adjust to it and it will no longer remain effective. I put up with alot and use it only as a last resort. Keeping feet and hands warm is a must. I've tried all the meds but continue to try different B vitamins and combinations of essential oils mixed with THC or CBD. worked with ACL and various other herbs or amino acids. Keep trying, don't give up. AND keep notes on everything, because you can get confused on what you have or have not tried and for how long.

What is ACL?
