Yes, a friend or family member that you give your permission to discuss your health with your health team. Does the hospital use My Chart or another portal that posts your test results? If your labs show elevated inflammatory markers, request that you receive the medication "baricitinib." The FDA has given emergency use authorization (EUA) to use for COVID with lung inflammation. It is an older drug that is used for Rheumatoid Arthritis to relieve inflammation. It works for about 50% of COVID patients. It saved my husband's life. With your high oxygen needs and elevated heart rate, it sounds like you do have a lot of inflammation. YOu (or your advocate) must be the "Squeaky wheel" right now to get the appropriate treatment.

Are they UK supported, I'm there at the moment and I'm not aware of anything that posts the results online, I'm really in the dark with a lot of the updates. I'm definitely more worried than I was. Not sure how long before things get better but I'm hoping it happens soon.

Doctors just tell me not to worry about inflammation and that they're looking after me and giving me everything I need. I've asked husband to try and ring but he's not getting anywhere on details of what's happening
