Thanks Mistea,
for the other resources you gave me in this email. From medical reports that I have read PPI's are not effective for treating LPR - and yet that is what we are prescribed! There maybe a placebo effect. I will start trying alternative therapies .

I would appreciate your help. What have you found that helps with LPR, GERD, and burning mouth? I have read that taking alginate is helpful. I am waiting to hear back from endocrinologist to get their approval. I had thyroid cancer a few years ago and take a higher dose of Levothyroxine.
