I didn't have UC, but developed gastritis which has become chronic, and during the first 3 months of my LC, had mesenteric panniculitis. I wish you the best on your journey. I am almost a year out and am much better, but still have autoimmune issues if exposed to viruses and even simple procedures such as Botox injections.
