Linear endocrine cells hyperplasia & Autoimmune Gastritis
Hello,
I don't know if this is the appropriate forum but it does have something to do with my question and I also couldn't find a gastro board. On June 2, 2022 I had a endoscope with biopsies for ongoing stomach problems. The fact that I was refused anesthesia is another subject but I had it done and a week later I got biopsy results on my portal no phone call. It said linear endocrine cells hyperplasia with the possibility of autoimmune gastritis. Dr said it required follow up but no need for concern. Since my follow up was over 2 months away I tried to call him they wouldn't let me talk to him. Several weeks later I tried to speak to the dr who was the head of the motility dept. He wouldn't call me back. Some gi manager called me question me why I was calling this dr. This morning I got off the phone with the complaint dept he was full of excuses too. I do have a appointment with a new gi but it's not until November 10. I'm worried that between June and November the hyperplasia can develop into a endocrine tumor or do you think I am safe until November? This person I spoke to this morning was totally unsympathetic. I learned online by other people who had this told me I was suppose to have these antibody bloodwork which this hospital never ever mentioned to me. This person this morning said I can't believe anything from anyone on the internet. I said what was I suppose to do when now dr would talk to me and I had no idea what these biopsies results meant. I just want to know if I'm safe until November. Thank you

Hello,
i know i have posted here before. it was a while ago i believe my queston is it has been a very long road for me. just to updat: last june several months after my gallbladder surgery i had a endoscope done June 2, 2022 to be eact. in addition to being refused anestesia and only mild sedation, that was awful, i went through with it as i wanted to know wether there was something wrong with my sstomach. a week later the results were on my portal. it was not what i expected. linear endrocine cell hyperplasia with possibly autoimmune gastritis. no bloodwork nothing just said it was nothing to be concerned about and AAG doesnt cause symptoms haha i know beter now. i literally just had the bloodwork done a month or so ago. intrinsic factor was negetive but my pariental cell was high. it said out of range it wasnt out of this world high but high none the less. i belonged to another type of discussion board its always been helpful but someone its like she wanted to stress me out she said she was having throat issues( similiar to me) but she had a endoscope and she just said in addition to having autoimmune gastritis, a hernia she said she had a net and she kept wanting to drill the word CANCER into me and everyone else she also said her intrinsic factor was neg but her pariental cell was high like mine. but her gastrin was well over 1000 mine in dec was 152. but someone else had to say his was 150 then went to 374 in a matter of months. so now you can imagine how out of sorts i feel. i see a new GI on friday. yes it will be my 5th why i have had such a awful time i dont know. im hoping he is good i can say where my new primary is they have several specialists in the same building including GI. but now because of these people im worrying and thinking the worst. of course nothing so far indicates anything worse that autoimmune gastritis i prob do have im hoping soon to get a repeat endoscope and follow up with a plan. i just had to post as i dont know why people seem to enjoy stressing other people out. thank you for listening!!
