50mm mass found in sigmoid colon

Started with blood in stool for a while. Took over a month to get a colonoscopy scheduled. After the procedure was told a large mass was found 50mm. Tomorrow we get the results of pathology. Could a mass this size not be cancer? Blood work came back normal. Is that a good sign? Panic is all I feel. Terrified.

Oh yes that’s an older post. Unfortunately after surgery they found cancer in 7 lymph nodes and so it’s stage 3 colon cancer. I’m about to start my third chemo treatment.

@maya8238, how are you doing on chemo treatment? Side effects?

It’s been ok. The worst symptom is exhaustion and the cold sensitivity. Otherwise not the worst. I even managed to work again here and there. Thank you for following up.
