Hello, my name is Karen and am new to this group.

I also had the first Shingles vaccine a few weeks ago. About four plus or minus hours I started with the chills and that evening before bed vomited. The next day still had chills with muscle aches and continued with chills. These reactions lasted about a week except the vomiting stopped. I have reservations about taking the second injection which is due in six months or sooner. I guess it’s a choice of not getting or getting shingles. I have not had bad reactions to any vaccine before.
That’s my story people.

Yes, me too! I had a very high temperature through the night after the shot - sweaty, chills, aches...
But the second shot. Nothing!

Not suggesting this to anyone…just my experience. I got the first Shingrix shot. Don’t remember any side effects. But forgot to go for second shot…highly unlike me but under so much stress doing a big move. Have not had shingles since. Just my experience. But had I had the reaction that you all have had to either shot…I know me..I would never have had the other ever.
