@ronag

I can understand your frustration. I had covid April 2022 and am still experiencing heart rates of over 100 with minimal activity (eg walking up a flight of stairs, slowly walking around the block, etc). The physio at the long covid clinic wants me to keep my HR under 55% of my maximal heart rate to try and control my post exertional malaise. I find it very limiting. Anything more than sitting and smiling gets the HR up too high. Has anyone else received similar advise?

I tried to respond to your entry but somehow it did not go through.

Yes, I am fully vaxed and boosted also. I think the original vaccinations worked pretty well for me, but I no longer have much faith in what the medical establishment advises. I am sorry that I am bitter, but the vaccinations may work to keep people out of the hospital, but they don't seem to protect us very well from post Covid illness. Now is time for research to concentrate on helping us. Most people around her are not bothering with boosters anyway.

I have managed my cardio challenges very well with help from my docs. I was doing very well until Covid finally got me in December 2023.
I am glad you are feeling a little better. I can only pray and hope that I will get better before too long!
