no diagnosis. Over the last year i have had to take more and more laxatives. Last was 50mg senna and 250mg colace. That was not working after a while. So i took 5 dulcolax nd nothing. Not even a cramp. Took three more of the same. Went twice very soft. So i said no more pills and increased my fiber and water. Not working. Took four more dul. tabs. nothing. So i took myralax. It was the amt. Mayo recommended for colonscopies and put it in 28oz of chrystal light. drank quickly. Nothing. Getting worried. Took a double dose of milk of mag. twice. 60 ml each. nothing. I was going to try fleets phossolate. Could not find any in town. Then i thought supporisitories. Will have to purchase. Significant?? I have back problems. So in the last few years i have made it a point to having very soft stools. When that didn't work was when i started additional meds. I have bowel sounds. Pass a little gas. That is it. Eating salads and other vetiblles and fruit. Did take prunes, nothing.

Did get suppositores and they worked some. Did the next day and also with results. Still seems like I have to work hard.

Had same problem of constipation and bleeding a year ago. Was told it was hemorrhoids and constipation. It took six months to get into a seeing a gastroenterologist. They did colonoscopy and found a larger then 4cm tumor adenocarcinoma in my superior rectum. Don’t wait get the colonoscopy done.
