Does anyone have GI issues drinking caffeine. Or an overwhelming habit with coffee that is casusing GERD?

I did, as per dr. Avoid caffeine, so I drink now caffeine free coffee you can get in Amazon it’s call ROMA made out of barley it’s pretty good. I only drink decaffeinated tea.

There is a low acid coffe that I purchase through Amazon, Lucy Jo. It comes in a variety of types and can be ordered whole bean or ground. Regular or decaffeinated, which would be your preference according to your question. I’ve tried both and think they’re quite good.

I drink decaf that is just as good as the regular variety. I have an espresso machine that you can buy decaf pods for and the espresso is just as good as the regular. Decaf is much improved since days of yore. You can't tell the difference.

Lifeboost is a low acid coffee that comes in a variety of roasts and flavors and also comes caffeinated or decaffeinated, beans or ground. I started drinking it to help with my GERD. It’s also a very clean coffee, third party tested and free of mycotoxins, heavy metals, 400 toxins, mold and chemical free.

The only coffee I can drink with my GERD is Eight O'Clock decaf, and my second cup of that is starting to bother me. Very interested in this thread for some recommendations for low acid coffee.

I have GERD and drink decaf only. Agree with the writer who said the newer decafs are way better than the older ones. I add a pinch of baking soda to Costco house brand or Peet’s Dark Roast pod coffee in a large travel mug. No problems.

I drink Healthwise brand low acid coffee bought on Amazon. I use unsweetened almond milk as a creamer because its alkaline and should neutralize any acid left in the coffee.

I too have this problem with coffee. I do like the Lifeboost coffee but I use the Keurig pods and Lifeboost only seems to come in a box of 10, which makes it expensive. This week I am trying Puroast coffee. I know that decaf would probably be better but I only drink one cup a day and I want a bit of caffeine kick in the morning when I first get up. I am drinking my cup of Puroast right now and it's not bad.
The rest of the day I drink water or chamomile tea, which is the only herbal drink that's recommended for GERD or LPR.

I realize that the doctors and the GI specialist do not recommend coffee or hot chocolate or even chocolate and red paste and I love spaghetti but I can't take the pasta because of my diabetes it just shoots me through the ceiling on my glucose level coffee is I can't give up the coffee because it helps me in the morning I have two generative discs I have sciatica I have nerve pain in my legs and hips and the coffee helps with that because of the caffeine being a painkiller and also it gives me a boost in the morning too I don't know what to do I sometimes it makes my stomach upset and I've been having a little bit of discomfort and below my belt area so I don't know what I'm going to do I keep praying everyday I wish I could quit but I haven't been able to yet I don't know what to replace it with I can't drink tea makes me sick at my stomach I also have neuropathy in my legs and especially in my feet I take 1800 mg of Gabapentin each day for that
