@anon808 any physical condition can be accompanied by anxiety. Not knowing what is going on is part of the problem. Years ago before I was diagnosed with Hyperthyroidism (Graves Disease) I thought I was starting early menopause! I had what seemed like hot flashes day and night. I had all kinds of energy and didn’t feel the need to eat or sleep. I was jittery and super irritable….. The best thing I did was to get testing and diagnosis. Then I got information and treatment. Do not hesitate to get information and treatment for the anxiety too. You are a complex individual, more than the sum of the parts. As a Christian believer I believe we are made in the image of God. Do your best to care for all the parts, mental & emotional health included.

Thank you. Yes, I’m heading to a university hospital in March and I am working on my anxiety attacks. They seem to correlate with my hyperthyroidism. I am hoping once the goiters are resolved my anxiety will not be as acute.
