In case it helps, I recently ready about scientific findings that suggest that long COVID may be reactivation of buried from past illness. Now, Iay saying it inaccurately from memory, but it won't hurt to look into it.

If that is the case for you, possibly it could be a clue about why you're having specific symptoms. I can't say for sure because this is simply my hopeful thought without knowing how scientists and physicians view it. Also, when people get shingles decades after their chicken pox illness from childhood, the symptoms are different. So, it might not be fair to assume a reactivated virus would produce the same symptoms as before. Again, a scientist or physician may have a more accurate and helpful way of explaining this.

One thing a can say for sure is that individual doctors don't know everything and many may either not be up to date or may not be referencing the latest findings because they might not have been verified or reproduced and any treatments may not be considered to be the standard of care.

Even when having access to to doctors, I often end up essentially treating myself in safe natural ways after doctors look at me with deadpan expressions and say, "I don't know." I read the scientific literature directly until I find clues to what might help and the a cautiously try the safe things I've found or that were implied in my readings. It often works. Be careful, though. I sometimes ask, "If I do this for 6 weeks, will it hurt me?" If the answer is "No," I move forward. If they say that about a medication, though, I'm more conscious and read what the medical literature says and more.

@sarahx My husband and I have been looking into the fact of that Covid mimics past health issues and when I say I so believe there is some truth this theory for sure. As I was saying to Law I am either learning to live with it or I am just kidding myself every day has it's struggle and still not a Doctor in our Region has a clue. We continue to do the same. We research and test what helps and what hurts. I still can't work , but I have started up a business with my husband and it is already making money and it helps to keep all this Long COVID off my mind. We also keep track of when an issue may arise. Prayers for you and your family.
