@poppy67

I am in pain and feeling sadness and somewhat hopeless. I am 67 and have serious health concerns that have no cure. I read your post and it lifted me up. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and your feelings. It meant so much. I’m sure I will be reading it over and over.

Put your trust in God he will take your hand and help you Isaiah43:13

Hi Poppy,
I'm sorry to hear of your pain and sadness and hopelessness. However, it isn't hopeless. You have God. He made you and he can heal you! Whether he heals you by taking you to Heaven or just here on Earth is up to God. However, it states in the Bible "Ask and it will be given to you." Just talk to God like you would a very good friend. Tell him what you want and when. You can also suggest that he "please hurry up"! I do that often when I'm so worried about my husband's lung cancer and my incontinence! It helps and it works! My husband is doing so well that you wouldn't know he has cancer and I am getting my incontinence under control.

You also might try reading the Bible cover to cover. My husband and I are doing that. We are reading the Bible for the second time. Just start at the beginning and read a chapter a day. Perhaps in the morning before you get up. It helps put a new positive perspective to the day.
I would suggest the King James Version. The newer versions change the words and thus, the meaning too much. Also when you come across the word "Kine" it is an old fashioned word for cow. I had to look it up in a very old dictionary I had. I had no idea what it meant!

I hope my suggestions help and that things go well for you. I will remember you in my prayers.

Hi Poppy,
I pray that you are feeling better today. I’m sorry you feel the way you do. I’ve read some comments about reading the Bible, my suggestion is that you get a friendly version of it and yes read it, but find yourself someone that understands the Bible that can help you through it. King James is very difficult to understand. Faith will take through this, God will help you through this. My prayer for you is that the Lord grant you peace and I’m here if you need some one to chat with. God continue to bless you Poppy♥️🤗
