I have a pump implant, 1st year anniversary. I wish I had done it years ago.
Between medicare and my supplemental insurance, it didn't cost me a penny. It is reliable, anytime, anywhere 24/7. I am the same size erect, but much larger flacid. I have no noticeable loss of sensitivity and I have my confidence, self-esteem, masculinity etc. etc back.

Been told it depends on the model implant ..the dr doing it etc will make all the difference in the outcome ... I'm in Tampa Fl going to USF ... their urology dept leads the country in the number of implant surgeries they do ... if you have medicare advantage plan with no supplement you will have out of pocket expenses .. How was your recovery time and process?

What is your age? Thank you for that first hand information. Which type of implant did you settle on?

Can I ask you what brand did you end up going with in the end? I'm doing the penile injections for the past few months went from Bimix to Trimix. Have yet to get any results and the side effects are terrible. I'm starting to look into an implant.

I now have the pump also. 30 days into the healing process. Going well. I started recycling. No more real pain. Just periods of noticeable discomfort. Secondly: after I have deflated and my penis is flaccid. I have the sensation that an erection want to come. And sure enough my flaccid penis is not so flaccid anymore. Storing it because a challenge. I have the AMS 700. All the literature I have read regarding this procedure indicates that a natural erection is not possible after implant. Have you had any feelings or events associated with a natural erection? I thought about accidentally pressing the ball and solution seeping in, but the AMS pump is a tuff cookie. The pumping has to be firm and quite deliberate. Any response.?

Radical prostate removal approx. 16 months ago. I have been thru the pills & injections and neither worked. Right now, I am scheduled for an implant at Mayo, the Titan 3 piece inflatable. What am I looking at pain level, recovery time and any other advise, you would give after having been thru the surgery? Any advise will be appreciated. Thanks
