I’ve been sick for 7 months and no one knows why
Hello
In July I felt like something stuck in my throat and in my back it was very uncomfortable so I went to the Dr and he diagnosed me with GRED , I took the meds but it didn’t work .. after that the symptoms started to come and go
Suddenly I felt in so much pain I started vomiting so I went to another Dr he did endoscopy and colonoscopy and diagnosed me with Esophagitis and Ulcerative colitis and he put me on immunotherapy this was on august I started taking the meds for almost two months I didn’t get better I felt so tired and drained the trouble with something stuck in my throat was finally over but I started feeling like a burn sensation behind my breast bone sometimes the burning sensation goes to the breasts
I went back to the same Dr he did a chest X ray and he told me everything was fine it’s just a Chest Allergy but this sensation lasted for weeks finally I booked with a good Dr in my country and I had to wait for a month for the appointment in October I saw the new Dr and I described my symptoms to him he told me to stop all the medication and he described to me Dexilant and enemas the burning sensation was gone as soon as I stopped the meds , the feeling started again we switched meds for about three months in January the Dr decided to do endoscopy and colonoscopy again and he said it might be crohn disease and all this symptoms related to crohn , now I’m feeling that something stuck in my throat again and I also feel like a burning sensation in my chest , I’m really scared is it related to crohn ? I’m really tired I just want to feel good again please if you know anything answer me , ( sorry for my bad English)

Great responses! Thank you all for sharing. There are times when I feel that some docs forget what they are for: to save lives, treat patients so they again be healthy, fit and strong and pain-free! They succumb to putting more weight on the $$$$$, due to the pressure of bringing revenue to their institutions or practice. Sad. It is very hard to find a good doctor. Looks like ifm.org is worth checking out! All the BEST to all of us!
I’ve been sick for 10 years!! 6 Gastro Drs , over 20 tests and 7 diagnoses. Tried everything RX , holistic, even did hypno therapy 3 x . You name it I’ve tried it . Still no one can help me . I just went to Functional Med Practitioner a few weeks ago . Had 7 viles of blood drawn yesterday and need to do 2 stool samples . Then another abdominal ultrasound soon .
Non stop deep wet belching that tastes like gut lining , 1000’s day and night . Non stop churning volcano 🌋 gut . Last few days Colon issues bad , pain , long bouts of sitting on toilet 🚽 . It’s relentless. I eat so healthy for years . I still get so sick 🤢. Lack of sleep is causing such daytime fatigue.
I’m at wits end here . I understand your frustration for sure .
Thank you rozy for your comments, I’m so sorry for what you’ve been through I wish you all the best
And I wish you find an answer and got the medication you need
I really wish you get better and thank you again
Thanks , it doesn’t look good for me at this point . I do my best but life is definitely a huge struggle. God Bless .. hope you get healed .
Update
I’m now back on dexilant and Dogmatil I’ve been using it for 2 weeks now and I’m feeling better by 70% the acid reflux has disappeared but I still get burning sensation in my chest from time to time, I don’t know what’s wrong, my Dr says I’m totally fine but all I have is stress sometimes I wish I can know what is going on in my body.
I’m using the meds for one more week and if the symptoms didn’t go away , I will do a CT scan to make sure that everything is fine .. wishing for the best thank you everyone who’s trying to help I’m so grateful for you.
I had that burning feeling in my chest at one time. It finally resolved after I went gluten free. I also had a lump in my throat feeling constantly that went away as well. Hope this helps.
Are you allergy to gluten or any food allergies? Some times people are not allergy to gluten but sensitive
to gluten or food can do a lot of things like gas / nausea and bowel problems
I have had similar symptoms but also terrible pain in my stomach. This was resolved for me with a medication called domperidone. If all else fails this medication is available by prescription from your doctor. However I believe you have to get it in Canada. It is something you should discuss with your doctor. I have been taking 4 to 6 Domperidone a day for over 20 years with no problem. If I go down to 3 pills a day the pain comes back. I sure hope you can find your solution to your medical issues.
After doing all I can
I’m starting to think that The reason for my Symptoms is psychological
Because I lost my sister last year and after her death within 6 months I got divorced and one week later the symptoms started I don’t what I should believe anymore I went to more than 3 doctors and I did 4 endoscopy and colonoscopy I did chest X rays I also did an MRI scan and all of the results were clear but I still have pain I’m considering going to therapy if nothing worked I hope I can find an answer for what is happening, btw I did allergies test and every thing were fine no allergies
I’m also considering going to a Functional Dr .. this was one of the hardest year in my life and I’m only 23 years old .. hoping for the best
And thank willows for your reply!
