I did this so you can easily connect with other members, like @eileenb1022 @khali, who are talking about managing symptoms and medications related to an overactive thyroid.
Along the same lines as @sueinmn mentions about adding medications, have you considered talking with your pharmacist to review all your medications?

@red64 Good morning and welcome to Mayo Connect.
I see you are dealing with several medical conditions at once. Adding a new medication can always cause new side effects.
One of the the common ones from Carbimazole is exactly the aches and pains in bones and joints you describe here. I am glad your doctor listened and reduced the dosage to give your body time to adjust.
Are you feeling any better after the change? If not, can you talk to your doctor about alternatives?
