Effect of animal protein consumption on prostate cancer

Anyone have reliable information on how eating animal protein affects prostate cancer? Specifically, is animal protein metabolized in such a way that prostate cancer growth promotion occurs? Thanks

I tried a vegan diet but found it too difficult to get sufficient protein each day. Now I have salmon or tuna several times per week and occasionally very lean turkey. Otherwise lots of fresh vegetables.

I’ve adopted the Mediterranean Diet. Nearly every eating healthy report recommends this diet! Having been a big game hunter in Wyoming, it’s been a tremendous change for me. It’s been a year now and my PSA is very low. And, I’ve avoided radiation and hormone therapy treats to address a cancerous tumor. I enjoyed fish and vegetables, that has helped. I’m going ice fishing this week; I hope to catch some fish. 😊 Good job adjusting to your new dietary lifestyle. It’s definitely worth it.
