Hello @bal - I'm so sorry for your chronic pain from neuropathy. It's a big club to join! You are spot on with rest and peace. Also, moderation and modification have helped me tremendously. I learned how important it is to balance my days with movement (because motion is lotion), distraction, rest, mindfulness/meditation, belly breathing, and positive self-talk. Being up through the night is awful. What sort of tools do you use for distraction in helping you get back to sleep?
At 75, I alternate gentle yoga, walking, tricycling, eating oatmeal, & portion control to deal with paresthesia of limbs, osteoarthritis, & digestive issues (gallstones). Also, have good relationship with my empathetic PCP; no alcohol, no smoking, eating non-inflammatory fruits/veggies, backyard puttering & always looking forward to a positive day! Be hopeful...modern med tech will come up with therapy that works! Best to all!
Hello @fisbo, thinking of you and wondering how you've been coping these days?
Not so good have chest pains and arrythmias end up at hospital if it gets bad
Nothing has helped with the burning, tingling and catus like feeling I have from my toes all the way through my buttocks. Everything I have tried makes it worse.
