Hello, I am suffering from gastritis from a long time. Two years back GERD started bothering me as well. Used Pantoprazole and that seemed to help me a lot. My sleep patterns have changed because of GERD. A week ago, while sleeping, I am feeling internal tremors in the back of my spine (only internal). But not when I am awakened. Are these related? Not sure what is causing them. Could that be stress / anxiety, GI Tract issues, pinched nerve or something else? This is kind of driving me crazy.

Welcome @vidya587. I'm sorry to hear that your sleep patterns have changed since the addition of GERD to your GI issues of gastritis. I moved your question to this existing discussion:
- GI Disorder and Internal Shaking: https://connect.mayoclinic.org/discussion/gi-disorder-and-internal-shaking/

I did this so you can read previous posts and connect with others like @gigiraj @bl3ss3d @rjk @brayimee @oakbourne @gabbystellato8 @lauead626 @emm79 who have dealt with similar symptoms.

Have you seen a neurologist?
