Hi,
I have found that CBD/THC tinctures, balms, and edibles help with my constant pheriperal pain. I use it so that I can sleep at night. I even learned how to make my own so that I'd know exactly what I was taking. I'd say that there is a learning curve on what and how much works for you. I'm no expert, but good dispensaries have knowledgeable people.
Sorry you're in pain! Good luck.
I found CBD on its own good for helping me sleep which in turn helped me hurt less and be more able to cope. From that I decided to get a private prescription for THC/CBD as it was recommended for nerve pain amongst others. I haven't reduced my pain from that level yet, but I’ve been able to come off of significant amounts of other drugs that were for my pain, so thats a reserved yes for me.

Can you tell me what ratio you are taking? I started taking 20:1 cbd/thc a month ago for chronic pain and haven’t been able to see any improvement. Still taking Tramadol 4 x/day.

I also use tramadol: 200 mg ER as my base medication for chronic pain & also 50 mg for immediate release when I have flare ups. I did at one point wean myself off of tramadol so I could use medical marijuana. For me, yes, MM, once you find the right ratio from the right indica/sativa/hybrid for you, works wonders. For my pain mgt, it is much better than any opiods out there. BUT.....it was costing me about $400 a month for MM to have same level of relief that $60 a month for my combined Tramadol.
CBG, a different form of non-psychoactive cannabis that is related to CBD (but operates on different neuro-receptors), may help with nerve pain. I am trying 50 mg of THC GBG by tincture and it seems to help. Good luck!

I tried CBD gummies but they messed up my digestion.

It is not recommended.

Im taking 50/50. I started on 10/12.5 however and that got me off the max tramadol reducing by 1 tablet per day each fortnight.
If you do like the article says, try and take the oil separate, from a few hours when the Tramadol is taken.

Sorry for the typo... that last post was supposed to say "50 mg of THC-free CBG by tincture."
