Oh this just goes out to everybody a gastroparesis diet is not the way to live I have two weeks before I see my specialist again but I have to remain on this diet of mush and yuck until I see him but they also have given me the lenzess 145 mg twice a day. Without it my stomach will not digest food I've literally had food sitting in my stomach for over 10 hours get sick and it come up as if it was never even touched like I had just ate or something I don't mean to be so vulgar but it's that's what it was. I'm going to urge anybody if you are going a week without going to the bathroom you need to see a doctor point blank I went too long without using the bathroom and now I have major major problems I cannot stress to you enough and how important it is to not just take a bunch of laxatives to try to go to the bathroom there may be an underlying problem that you're not catching and it could take over and cause real havoc in your digestive system.

I was given Reglan for Gastroparesis. 1-2 30 min before a meal. Really works.
All the best to you.

I too have had difficulty digesting and have recently started taking digestive enzymes. Klaire is a brand suggested by someone on this site and, after a few days, my digestion improved. I take one every time I eat, eat small meals and I still avoid certain foods but am able to eat and digest most foods and have very comfortable bowel movements.
