Thank you for speaking out. It helps me to know that the problems I am experiencing are not just in my mind, are real, and that COVID is doing a number on my body. I also developed gastro issues after COVID. I have no appetite and have lost weight that I can't seem to gain back. I developed COPD and muscle and tendon pain, as well. The doctors seem to ignore the long list of issues I have to live with and I don't have any idea what to do. I take Mira lax every morning so I don't get impacted but it upsets my stomach so I have to take Ondansetron to prevent vomiting and it helps settles the stomach. I live on protein shake meal replacements, yogurt, apple sauce and fruit.
Have you applied for State Disability? If you get Medicaid, they pay for everything. For outstanding medical bills you can ask the hospital etc. for charity and they can write off your debt.

Thank you so much for your comment and your post yes I have reached out about disability but under the current circumstances I'm not able to apply yet I'm currently working on a lawsuit that involves my previous employer for false termination as far as your diet and everything is concerned you might want to try to talk to your doctor and see about maybe looking into this one they gave me Lenzess 145 mg. This is helped me a great deal I also cannot do miralax or anything that I would have to take orally I don't do well but one thing I have found is you have to test to see what you can tolerate as far as food for me it has been chicken pot pies bananas and any type of melon fruit the doctor had advised me to stay away from dairy products all together and to do a low fiber diet but it's because I have gastroparesis and also my kidneys are starting to close down on me I also drink body armor versus Gatorade or Powerade best of luck to you please keep in touch you can always hit me up on the message private message

I've been taking 4 stool softner pills (docusate sodium) every night which I found helps me move my bowls the next day (I never had a problem before long covid).
