Alfred, Thank you for your kind words. I did consider medicine as a career at one time, but I took a different path in research instead. I think you need to advocate for a surgical solution to your spine issues. How about calling your local news television station and asking for help? Are there reporters there who take on stories like this? You should not be passed off to pain management by a surgeon who knows how to improve your situation. I just feel like he is not doing his job, and perhaps he is being compensated for refusing surgery to save money by the agency that controls this.

Is this the response from the new surgeon who is making you wait 3 months to see if your discs heal themselves or is your upcoming appointment a new beginning with an evaluation for surgical consideration?

Hi Jennifer,

how are you?

The new appointment is with a new neurosurgeon to get a new assessment for my spinal condition and resolution.

I have upcoming procedures with cortisone injections with the current pain management specialist to diagnose the source of the pain.

Unfortunately 2 days ago I was in my backyard and was trying to get away from a wasp that was coming near my face and I instinctively moved my head left and right a bit fast to avoid the insect. Now I have a new pain down the left side away from the spine towards the front. Check photo.

Thank you

Best regards

Alfred

Do you think that I might have caused some new damage or could it be a muscle/tendon strain?
