Talked with surgeon and covered all that you mentioned. CT scan next month to check to see how inflammation has gone down and then more planning with surgeon. Got it covered, just wanted to see what others' experience was like.

I am wondering about your outcome? My daughter is in A similar situation, her appendix had ruptured. The surgeon kept her in the hospital for 10 days on IV antibiotics and she is now home with two drains in place and waiting for surgery. The doctor said we would be looking at the three month mark before having surgery.
