I was first sent to get a pelvic ultrasound, and went to a gynecologist for a biopsy a few days later. When the gyno called on Dec. 1 to give me the diagnosis or en DDT ometrial cancer, he told me that it was low grade, and that if one had to have cancer, this was the kind to have because the outcome is typically very good. Had my Da Vinci laparoscopic total hysterectomy with bilateral ovaries and tubes removed on Dec. 20th. Within 12 hours of surgery 6 wa sc up walking laps in the hospital hall. At home the next day I didn't need any pain meds. On the 28th I got the news that the cancer was gone and I didn't need any further treatment! 75-80% of women only need surgery because this type of cancer grows slowly and gets caught early. Please be encouraged and hopeful. I have found this cancer to be a great blessing to me.

Hello, what was your stage and grade? Was there any spread to the cervix? Was is the gyno oncologist surgeon who called you?
