I hope physicians will one day spell out in hard cold facts with details of what can happens to bone structure if not protected. - before it is too late. These discussions need to occur early on. We all know what diabetes can do to the body- I think more attention and public awareness are required for this osteoporosis disease

@saba as a person with several fractures, I agree. Part of the info given to patients should emphasize that osteoporosis is symptomless, that we can feel strong when we aren't.

@kirstenlheld my wonderful endo did not want to do the tests suggested by McCormick, so I asked my PCP to order them, and she did. To be honest the tests were not particularly helpful.
