Hi Bosco
I am in the same situation, have gastritis and Gerd after gallbladder removal. am still taking the PPI and acid reducer, but have horrible symptoms which include bloating, gas, stomach pain, headache, dizziness, anxious, depression ,night sweats and insomnia. Now with exercise intolerance.
I too feel at the end of my rope. We gotta be strong and fight this. I am here to talk when you like. I think talking is therapy for me too. I have started drinking celery juice, and going for acupuncture, I read an article that it can be effective. Also drinking alkaline water. Hope and prayers for both of us for recovery.

I tried to stop ppis again but acid rebound was just too much.Taking 20mg for stomach ulcer but I dont think that dose will heal me. Im gonna have to try and see if I can beat the side effects. Im a complicated case . Repeated diverticulitus, Liver tx, heart attack, lots of plaque, stomach hernias. Im suffering with this ulcer issue. Cabbge juice, DGL Licorice and aloe vera gel is something you can also try. Trouble is my transplant meds are what is causing my problem and I cant stop them. To me it seems when I try to stop the ppis my acid becomes worse than before. Big Pharm at it again?? Its very hard to get off them once theyve sucked you in!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Good luck to you
