Thank you so much for sharing your experience, strength and hope. Best of luck with your chemotherapy and radiation. It sounds like you have a good treatment plan.

My husband is scheduled for a CT scan and an ultrasound of the lymph nodes tomorrow. Mastectomy and lymph
node biopsy will be done on Wednesday.

I want my husband to be as comfortable as possible post surgery. Any suggestions would be helpful.

My wife bought a pillow system from amazon that helps for sleeping propped up almost like in a recliner or a recliner if you have one will help greatly as he will probably have to sleep on his back in an upright position. They also have some type of belt you can get to hold his drain especially when it is time for a shower. Zip up sweatshirts or button down shirts a must, will be hard to raise arm above head to put on pullover shirts. If I can think of anything else I will let you know but I think that's really about it for what made it more comfortable for me. Tell him good luck and keep positive.
