@granite

Can you tell us more about any chromosomal reports and why this chemotherapy combination was chosen? Where are you being treated?
How did you come to choose these supplements? Did your oncologist state they would not interfere with treatment?
Thank you.

@granite, good question to ask your oncologist when choosing integrative therapies or supplements along with cancer treatments. Some supplements, teas, vitamins can interfere with the effectiveness of treatment.

Here are my favorite websites for finding evidence-based info about herbs and supplements:

From Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK)
– Search About Herbs (cancer specific) https://www.mskcc.org/cancer-care/diagnosis-treatment/symptom-management/integrative-medicine/herbs/search

National Center for complementary and Integrative Health (NCCIH)
– Homepage https://www.nccih.nih.gov/
– Health Topics A-Z https://www.nccih.nih.gov/health/atoz
– Herbs At A Glance https://www.nccih.nih.gov/health/herbsataglance
– Know the Science https://www.nccih.nih.gov/health/know-science

@jodaface02, in case you didn't see Granite's question, they ask how you choose the supplements you mention. Does your cancer center have an integrative medicine department?
