If you get your calcium from red algae sources it is absorbed without causing deposits. I take Alive Bone Support which has Vit K2, D, strontium, calcium and magnesium and plants blends. The calcium is aquamin calcified mineral red algae. the tablets are rather large.

I'm interested in "If you get your calcium from red algae sources it is absorbed without causing deposits." Can you point to a scientific study that confirms this?

Does the algae contain any oxalates that would prevent the body from absorbing much of it? That is the case with spinach. Since the tablets are rather large, have people who take them experienced any short term side effects, such as constipation?
