Where can I find a list of Osteoporosis Meds & side effects?

Here are all the meds I know about. You can easily google side effects but reactions are variable and the list of side effects can deter people. It is good to try meds if needed, and see how you react. Sometimes you can start off with a low dose.
1) Bisphosphonates (anti-resorptive):
oral
alendronate (Fosamax ®):
etidronate (Didronel ®)
ibandronate (Boniva ®)
risedronate (Actonel ®)
tiludronate (Skelid ®)
Zoledronic acid (Zometa®)
IV infusion
zoledronic acid (Reclast, Zometa)
pamidronate (Aredia ®) note : I have never heard of this Rx

2) Denosumab- injection (anti-resorptive)
Prolia, Xgeva

3) Anabolics - daily injection (bone builders)
teriparatide (Forteo)
abaloparatide (Tymlos)

4) Evenity (romososumab)- monthly injections
anabolic and anti-resportpive

5) Evista (raloxifene) - oral (affects hormonal receptors)

Also Atelvia. It is risedronate with, I believe, a coating that makes it delayed release and permits a new patent.

Apparently the coating does not always prevent GI/esophagus issues, I wonder if it is any better than Actonel. You can keep the list above but take out the manufacturers! :

"This medication may rarely cause irritation and ulcers in your stomach or esophagus. Get medical help right away if any of these serious side effects occur."

"Atelvia contains the same active ingredient found in Actonel ®. A patient being treated with Actonel should not receive Atelvia. Atelvia, like other bisphosphonates administered orally, may cause local irritation of the upper gastrointestinal mucosa."

@leeosteo make sure to look up the timing of doses. Some meds are daily, some monthly, some every 3 months all the way to once a year.
