Hi njed, I was told the same thing nothing for numbness. It's very hard for me to walk because of my lower back pain I have had for many years. I'm going to go and get fitted for a lumbar back brace and instead of my cane use walker when I walk. Since it's so cold here after I get my gear I thought about going to the inside of the mall to walk. I sure hope it helps. Good Luck to you!! Angie

Angie - I have spinal stenosis, narrowing from L-4 to S-1 and knee issues and orthopedic surgeon will not replace knees because if I were to fall, major issues. Over the years, sports and jogging has taken its toll. Getting jell shots in knees and cortisone shots helps somewhat. Yet, I push myself to walk. In dead winter, I walk inside house and my office. Mall is terrific idea. I live in small beach community, no malls within 30 miles. Before walking I use topical cream with Lidocaine. We all have to figure out what works best and keep moving. Ed
