From slow to very fast. What to do ?
Hello. I had a hysteroscopy done on 9/28, was comfirmed on 10/7 it was a “ Anaplastic, primitive malignant tumor” with no real identification. Only 3 options presented, each scarier than the others: uterine carcinosarcoma or a rare form of primary uterine sarcoma or a metastatic tumor to the uterus.
I got scheduled for an oncology consultation for 11/4.
I decided to contact the Mayo clinic, as an impulsion, for a second opinion.
I have an evaluation scheduled on 10/27. Of course I asked all my health records to be communicated to Mayo.
Last Friday a nurse called me asking me if i was open to having a Hysterectomy the friday 10/28 as the doctor had an opening.
I already have pre-op tests scheduled for after my evaluation appointment.
I dont know what to think. I have not yet seen or talked to the doctor, i dont know what kind of cancer i have, i have had only 1 biopsy done. And yet, I am almost scheduled for a radical hysterectomy.
Of course, I want to get rid of the cancer as soon as possible and I have been told the hysterectomy is probably the first step.
But I wont lie. I am scared to death and questionning everything.
Sorry to unload so much on strangers. In a way it helps me to put my fears into words.
Thank you for reading.

Hi, so far had 3 chemo, carbo/taxol, I am fine 1st 2 days after that days 3,4, & 5 bother me the most after each treatment then everyday gets better. Mostly, bothered with constipation.
Chewed ginger gum and drank ginger tea so not much nausea feeling. Used clartin everyday to keep white cell count up and Benadryl helped me sleep first few days, to wide eyed. Now doing
radiation and then 2 brachy, followed by 3 more chemo. And, have worked all days etc 1st 2 after chemo treatments.
Good Luck, just know have met people who didn't do right away and 2 years they are doing it.
Because shows back up.
It happens really fast because when they find it if it's a fast moving cancer you have to get it out so that's what the hysterectomy is all about I had a radical hysterectomy I had disgermnomia and they had too take out my appendix too it was 14 cm big and that happened within one week they did everything. I
was 27 years old hope that makes you feel better. Tu debbie ps its ok scared, mad ,why me..
Its ok scared, mad, sad, why me..
Well, last Monday was number 4 chemo, and as usual first 2 days ok, but of course starting day 3 no energy to digestive tract just moving bits through it, to diarrhea last few days, Imodium doesn't seem to be helping much. No energy and some lung congestion. Which, is better today than 3 days ago so maybe is allergies getting to be that time for me. Hopefully, better next couple days.
