Hi Cindy @cindymattern, Just a thought but since you mention you are very active, continuing exercises at home and by the end of the day your leg is "done in". Have you tried resting it a day or so to see if it makes a difference in how you sleep at night?

I'm know that on some days when I overdo the exercises, especially shoveling snow now days that I do a lot of tossing and turning at night do to hip and lower back pain along with achy shoulders.

I have actually tried resting it for a few days. I know before I left PT they told me that I needed t be stretching my hip because it was really tight. It's amazing how the knee affects so many different things. I've even tried a Tylenol 3 for pain and another night a muscle relaxer. Could it be my nerves are coming back to life? I know the one tendon runs from your hip to your ankle and it's moved during surgery. I'm not a back sleeper and do have issues with my neck and lower back but they are worse the last few weeks the further I go out from my knee surgery. If I sleep on my back my lower back/neck hurt badly, if I sleep on my side my hip and shoulder hurt. Never ending cycle lol
