Yes, the ridicule and people thinking I was just trying to get attention: I would enter a social gathering, whether or not I knew the people, and suddenly feel as if I was going to get sick, then I would get tunnel vision, then pass out! I would come to on the floor and be mortified! Only until Marie Osmond passed out on stage live with “Dancing with the Stars” did I realize I had been so tense that I guess I didn’t breathe. I have found no medication to alleviate this…and take 60 mg Prozac daily. I’m a firm believer that you I must also do the “work”, that is, help myself because no antidepressants have really worked (without side effects).
