Gastroparesis nausea is cyclical for weeks. Ideas? Help?
So I consulted a nutritionist and made some changes in diet to avoid trigger foods. Also started taking a multivitamin in the morning to cut down on all the meds I had been taking (B6, B12, Folic Acid, Iron, and several others). For 2 weeks no nausea. Felt a lot better. All of a sudden (yes I had caffine) have nausea for the last 4 days. Worse than before lifestyle changes. Ideas? Thoughts?
Thanks and Happy New Year.

i share your pain. i truly have given up trying to figure out what causes times of increased nausea. i do take reglan 3 times a day. i try to stick to a very basic diet. sometimes no issues, sometimes i wish i could just throw up. so i treasure the days when i feel ok and am gentle with myself on those other times.
4mg Ondansetron works instantaneously on nausea for me but it caused severe constipation. Took me 20 minutes to have a BM. I only use it when traveling on plane and can't risk vomiting while in my seat. Maybe a lower dose would be better. I am trying oral spray Herb Pharm's Not Now Nausea. I also sniff peppermint oil for nausea. I am not a medical professional and am not saying you will have a similar experience but am just sharing my personal experience. Hope you feel better!
Which meds did you cut back on?
Zofran and ginger candy helps.
Thanks
taking a multivitamin instead of separate b-12, b-5, folic acid, iron.
