Hello there.
I am three weeks out from a lap cholecystectomy. I have lost 22 pounds and was not overweight to start. I have no appetite and have horrible indigestion and burning in my esophagus. Any time I eat, applesauce, bananas, rice, toast, chicken I feel nauseated and as though I swallowed a brick, which causes me discomfort and distress. Any one else with these symptoms?
I had the surgery because of a suspicious polyp .

I had very similar issues after my gallbladder was removed in 10/2021. It took my body 3 months to acclimate not having a gallbladder. Do you also have GERD ? You may need some sucralfate for a few months. You are now dealing with more bile reflux. I also developed insomnia and anxiety die to surgery and no appetite.
