Hey Eirrol,

Could be water. Sometimes low thyroid. Also anemia. Diuretics. There's a few. I read something about calcium gluconate injection for high mag. I think you're right, that it's a metabolic thing.
You're on about bottled water.

Thanks. I had no idea these things could cause high magnesium.
Now I also know I can discuss the calcium gluconate injections with my doctor if my numbers get too high. Double thanks !
