I know exactly what you are saying. Every time I had to have a BM I got totally traumatized. The first time after the surgery I bled and stitches came out. Awful. Try powdered magnesium in the morning in juice or water. You can regulate it by the teaspoon and you will go in 15 minute or so. If you do not go, take more. Easy as that. Your body will tell you. Good luck.

Nice to hear back! Not a bad idea, but when I take magnesium, it almost always goes too far. Even if I take just a little. Recently I did Milk of Magnesia. I took a half dose, then that became too much, kept reducing it until 1 stinkin' little teaspoon and even that was too much. So I think maybe magnesium is not my friend! Ironic cuz I have RLS and magnesium helps that so much - I take magnesium bisglycinate as part of my RLS treatment plan - it doesn't upset the tummy. But maybe that makes it more likely for me to get magnesium overload??? Who knows?!
