I’ve been taking it for a few years for spinal pain and to help me with my sleep. Recently, it was increased because I stopped Tylenol PM — the Benadryl long term has its own issues, it’s meant for short term use only —- which was news to me!
I’m tapering off the Gabapentin per my physician’s concern of the confusion and fogginess that’s been getting worse. This increases my depression — it’s a big cycle.
I’m beginning Cymbalta approx halfway through the titration. Not there yet, so can’t comment on that.
It seems from all the comments, Gabapentin is not a good thing.
