Can gabapentin cause muscle pain and cramps in arms & legs?
Has anyone ever had the experience of Gabapentin causing severe muscle cramps in arms and legs and muscular pain and feeling of weakness? I know it is supposed to basically do the opposite and help with muscular problems......but this has happened twice to me as soon as I started the gaba and it was very severe,

No, if it does this to you call your doctor and there is different medicines (you didn’t say why you were taking it), I used 1800mg a day and it helps back issues (not just pain) and migraines.
Good info on the Tonic Water w/Quinine. I drink it at least twice a day. I used the diet due to weight concerns. I suspect the pickle juice would be good too, I have a friend who swears by apple cider vinegar. I will stick with my Tonic as long as it is helping.
Can’t take it and know many who can’t. Categul
I suffer with chronic pain all the time. You aren't alone
Pain docs just push pills! Much more to pain than that, anti-inflammatories help a lot and hyluronic acid helps a lot especially when surgeons say that surgery is needed because the patient wants it. Oh really! What arrogance !
Your medical service should have a better answer than I do. But my position put me on gabapentin 600 mg three times a day and absolutely did nothing for the neuropathy

Have you asked your doctor to increase your dose, provided your not having side effects or they are manageable or add another medication. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn’t.
Good luck,

My sisters dentist told her that the apple cider vinegar eats the enamel off her teeth. She had to stop using it.
It really helps me with the CRPS. My nerve pain in terrible, it burns so bad and it is hypersensitive all the time on the whole right side of my body. I would be crazy without the gabenpentin!
I have been in chronic pain for 21 years. I've had so many things tried on me by doctors and none of them have been completely successful. I now am on fentinal patches (2 every two days, 150 mcg total) gabapentin, neurontin, tylenol, and my psych meds are suppose to help also. But I recently read the article about Scrambler Therapy and am very eager to try it and get off some, if not all, the meds.
I am contacting the doctors to see if I can be a research patient. Keep your fingers crossed for me.
