Malabsorption from gastric bypass

Is anyone struggling with a malabsorption issue, specifically from gastric bypass or some other procedure that alters your anatomy? I have always had good test results on calcium and vitamin D. I don’t think it’s being absorbed by my bones and I now have osteoporosis. Are there any success stories for me?

I also had gastric bypass in 1978. I have issues sometimes with low hemoglobin and my doctor has said she believes it's an absorption problem. Now I have osteopenia.
I'm wondering if that's an absorption problem too.
