Bone Coach - How do you know it works?
I have seen several people here joined Bone Coach. How do you know your osteoperosis is better. The testimonials talk about general health improving which adherence to any healthy diet may have done the same.
There is no science shown. It's pricey but worth it if it works.

Hello Sheila, I would love to have you share your experiences with Bone Coach in this group - how they handle lab tests and their interpretation in a remote program, and a direct comparison of your DEXA scores now and at 6 months, 1 year, etc.
In the absence of detailed empirical information about the program, we would be able to see how it works for one individual, at least.
Will you share your journey with us? Testing, lifestyle & diet changes, exercise routines, etc?
Sue
Yes, I will share my journey. Yes, I will share it. I asked about the interpretation of the labs, and they said that, as we always see with labs, there will be numbers we can look at to interpret ourselves, but they have already stated that we need to have our own primary care physician, and even a functional medicine doctor, which we can see on zoom. I personally really like Keith McCormick DC. he developed osteoporosis at a very young age and has done a tremendous amount of research, and he has been much more knowledgeable than any of the rheumatologist, and endocrinologist that I have spoken to her that any of my friends have spoken to. So I would see if he could interpret the numbers for me. Boston College does have a more expensive program that includes a doctors interpretation but it’s too much money and I don’t believe it’s necessary because I don’t feel I need any sort of interaction with people. I can self start and do what I’m supposed to. I’ll keep you posted.
I took the zoom tour of the bone culture resources. I had an issue with the diet that they suggest because I saw their recipes and they all appear to be lower, no carb. I have a very high calcium score. I am the best diet for that, which has worked very, very well, is a plant-based diet. with the right evidence I am open to adding Yogurt and Simon. So I told the person who is taking me on the tour that with the right evidence I am open to adding Yogurt and Simon. So I told the person who is taking me on the tour that I could not give up my basic diet. She said that they were six diets, and one would certainly be the right fit for me. when I got to see the diet I saw they were 65 of which were low-carb plus the Mediterranean diet. I emailed them and expressed my concern that I have been misled and that I found some information they made about the diets to be scientifically inaccurately. They replied and told me they were refunding my money, and that they replied and told me they were refunding my money, and that this was not the right set up for that I might do a better one to one with my doctor. I am not saying it’s a bad program because of this experience that I had and my particular dietary needs. But I will say that their introductory program for $27 has all of the information that is in the rest of their programs. It’s just not as fully explained, but if you can go slow and read it on your own I think it’s well worth your time and money.
Thank you Sheila, for your review. I am curious about "Simon" - is this a product they offer? Or did your computer autocorrect the supplement "strontium"?
Can you share anything specific you found to be inaccurate in their diets/dietary recommendations?
I'm glad they refunded your money, and that you found the initial book helpful. Your review will be helpful to others trying to make a decision.
Have you decided what your next step might be? Would your doctor be open to referring you to a registered dietician to help "tweak" your current diet?
Sue
Yeah. Spell check got me. They indicated that the meditateran diet was OK for osteoperosis but nothing else and that's simply untrue. There are many studies showing it as best for heart disease.
They have good exercises but not unique.
What I am interested in are the functional medicine labs. I am going to be consulting with Keith McCormick DC, vicar in reply, early 40s bedroom, who sings one hour to call him anyone else I spoke with him the one who told me about the bone quality time and where to get it.
As opposed to local doctors saying things like "you can do it if you like", or "yeah, go find one". I’m having the bone quality test and then I will consult with Dr. McCormick again and I will ask him about the labs, and I will report back here. I.
I think she means ‘salmon’
Yes I meant salmon
Has anyone had experience using the Bone Coach (Kevin Ellis)?
I just saw an intro into the Bone Coach Blueprint for osteoporosis. Has anyone tried this approach? There is a fee. Just wondering if it's worth the fee.
Hi @leeosteo, I moved your question about Bone Coach to this existing discussion so you can read what other members have said about the program and its cost and whether it's worth the fee. See:

Thanks. I didn't see that existing discussion.
