@erthart65 Receiving the news that one has cancer is very frightening. I remember very well when my doctor called me with my diagnosis after the initial biopsy.

As @val64 wrote serous adenocarcinoma is one type of cancer that can occur in the uterus (endometrial cancer) or as an ovarian cancer.

You indicated that you received a final diagnosis. Was this made by a biopsy performed in the doctor's office? Or did you have surgery such as a hysterectomy?

Here is some information on different cancer types from the American Cancer Society. You can search for endometrial cancer or ovarian cancer.

What did you doctor say about the diagnosis and what is the plan for treatment? How are you feeling today?

After the total abdominal hysterectomy (TAHBISO) the pathologists concurs
that it was serous carcinoma and my gyne oncologist recommended 6 cycles if
chemo therapy and after a month I will have my 28 radiations. I had
undergone my 1st chemo this week. Feeling a little bit better after an
allergic reactions from the treatment.
