I have had Long Covid Disease for 33 months , When I heard of hyperbaric treatment, helping some patients with Long Covid I called many places that do hyperbaric treatment but they don’t take health insurance. The price differs from 500/400/300 this is NYC area. I need 10 plus treatments probably more as it will take longer for me because I have been sick too long with no treatment that is why over 10plus visits, I was told. Please forgive my comment , the brain fog makes difficult putting my words all together & trying to get out correctly. Not sure if help but you try anything but it also depends on each patient as somethings work for one & not the other as we see , I wonder if this is why treatments are not helping because of not getting any medical help when people where dealing with long Covid in the very beginning after even 1 yr/2 yr patients taking care of self because not much understanding, belief, is what I have received or I ask to please run my blood work. Any information or recommendations oh so appreciated
Thanks Kindly
Thank you all for your responses. I feel encouraged and anxious for the day the treatment will be covered by insurance. My covid started in August 2020, pre-vaccines. My biggest problem is SOB with almost any activity. I've tried lots of rehab, etc. I, also, often wake up with flu like symptoms but always test negative. I'll keep researching!!
