Hi,
With the embolization he just had zero appetite and when he ate he had even more pain, especially with a larger portion. I usually make a smoothie every day. I put banana, papaya, pears and blueberries in it. (papaya has digestive enzymes, the pear is great for fiber.) I use organic fruit and organic plain greek yogurt, almond milk and almond butter. I also use a super greens powder, collagen and then Muscle Milk powder. I make a large batch so he can sip on the smoothie all day! Our nutritionist is very happy with that. I thought if this is all he can get down it's full of everything he needs??? I will make oatmeal and puree it. Pureeing makes it easier to digest so I do that with soups too. Split pea is filling and veggie soups with some beans and I just puree so it goes down easier. I love to cook and we also eat healthy so I make whatever he can get down.....

Hello @jhilbish

It has been a couple of weeks since you last posted and I was wondering how your husband was feeling. Is he able to eat small meals now or are you still making smoothies?
